Oh, September in Britain. The end of summer, that ‘back-to-school’ feeling, the disappointments of not achieving all those summer plans.
But. But also the productivity that comes with a new term. Despite having not been a full-time teacher for the past year, and finding my feet as an Editor, I still find my working clock is set to the academic year. And so with this in mind, I have put a timetable in place to ensure I complete all my freelance, part-time and personal work and projects during a typical 9-5 working-day pattern. And this also means setting aside time to write. Not just this blog (which I have woefully neglected over the summer – I’m sorry!) but also to write the damn book.
There are many drafts to be finalised, tweaked and published in the coming weeks and months, including thoughts and musings on:
- intimacy
- porn
- the kinds of men we date
- writing inspiration
- taking steps in a relationship.
I’m excited to sit down and type again, and I hope you’ll continue to join me on this journey.
