More Sex Toys for Couples, And How to Use Them

December continued to offer saucy gifts and the next week unboxing our couples’ sex toys in our Lovehoney Advent Calendar delivered just as much as the first.

Wrist restraints

On the 8th day of Christmas, Lovehoney gave to me… velvet wrist restraints. The crushed velvet is comfortable to wear and one wrist can be clipped to the other through the integrated lobster clip. Perfect for those new to BDSM and wanting to explore sensory deprivation and restriction. You can also wriggle out of these restraints without too much effort.

Ideas for how to use them

  • Consensually limit your partner’s mobility during sex
  • Restrain your partner’s hands and give them mindblowing oral
  • Restrain yourself and have a uniquely challenging masturbatory session

App-controlled couples vibrator

Day 9 offered another fun toy; an internal vibrator for couples. The We-Vibe Sync Lite is controlled via an app and designed to stay in place during sex.

Ideas for how to use it

  • Use as intended – during penetrative sex
  • Add vibrations to a non-vibrating dildo while masturbating or sex toy fun with a partner
  • Explore your body (or your partner’s) with the vibrator, buzzing over different erogenous zones

Cock ring

Cock rings are amazing – and anyone can enjoy them, thanks to day 10’s box! Putting them on a flaccid or semi-erect penis will be easier than putting it on an erect dick – and cover yourself and the cock ring in lube for even easier fitting. Check out this guide to cock rings I wrote for Lovehoney for insight into the various types of cock rings and how to use them.

Ideas for how to use it

  • Cock rings trap blood in the penis, making erections harder and last longer. Put it on as part of foreplay and shag all night long
  • Roll a vibrating cock ring over a strap-on or dildo
  • Cock rings with rabbit ears can be worn “upside down” to stimulate the wearer’s perineum

Mini paddle

Have you been naughty this year? On day 11, Santa could offer a spanking. One side of the paddle is covered in firm, textured faux leather and the other in satin.

Ideas for how to use it

  • Softly caress your partner’s body with the paddle
  • After agreeing to try impact play, plant gentle thwacks on your partner’s derrière (avoiding their lower back and kidney area)
  • If you’re both keen to test boundaries, vary the sensation and power of spanking

Sex position snap card game

Day 12: Play snap, but make it sexy. You know the game.

Ideas for how to use it

  • Use as part of foreplay; clothed or hardly dressed. Which positions turn you both on?
  • Play Snap and each time your cards match, get into position
  • Set aside an afternoon and see how many positions you can get through…

G/P-spot massager

Whether you’ve got a G-spot or a P-spot, you’ll love day 13’s gift. Use as a standalone toy or pop in the bullet vibrator from day 1 and you’ve got yourself a vibrating G/P-spot massager. The rounded tip focuses pressure on the right sweet spots – and bigger is better if you’re trying to enjoy prostate pleasure.

Ideas for how to use it

  • Lube it up and slide it in
  • Insert the bullet into the allocated hole for tingly internal stimulation
  • (My Lovehoney articles are proving particularly useful in this blog post.) Discover how to use a prostate massager for mindblowing orgasms

Menthol orgasm balm

On day 14, a small pot of orgasm balm offered mighty minty sensations. Giggles likely. Orgasms not guaranteed…

Ideas for how to use it

  • Apply to your favourite erogenous zones
  • Dab around your body to discover new pleasure spots
  • Ask your partner to close their eyes before you make their body parts tingle

What will Santa have in his sack next week?!
