Each Wednesday there’s a prompt for bloggers to create an erotic post along this theme.
This week, the prompt was “Top 10”. (I rarely get involved with Wicked Wednesday, not because I don’t like the prompts but because my day job is writing and editing, some weeks my brain is fried and creative juices dry up.) “Top 10” is the 500th Wicked Wednesday prompt, so it’s about time I properly got involved.
For almost 10 years, I’ve been blogging here. What started as a place to house tales of bad dates (and Christ has there been a lot of them), this blog has evolved to explore topics of kink, romance and promote guest blogs. Those who follow me on Instagram know I frequently share updates of content I’m writing and the posts you’re enjoying; I love seeing how my “Top Posts” change over time.
So here they are, my Top 10 viewed posts as of the close of 2021:
Wonderful, I only posted this three days ago. Many of us don’t admit it but we’re fascinated by people’s lives behind closed doors. What are they watching? What turns them on?
In 2020, I wrote a series of posts about kink which led to me being commissioned by Torture Garden to create content for their blog (such as this article). It also meant I met spoke to people well and truly in the kink scene and learnt a lot about my own desires.
Another recent post after a fantastic night with friends. TG loved it and asked to repost on their blog.
The second half of 2021 was characterised by this almost-relationship, though I didn’t know it at the time.
Because everybody loves a helpful “how-to” guide.
A roadmap for navigating dating apps – who to avoid and who to fantasise about.
An awful experience in the end but what a learning curve and good material for the blog.
As a former teacher, I had quite a bit to say on the matter.
I’m surprised this is one of my Top 10 posts. I wrote it after Netflix aired its Sex, Love and goop programme and enjoyed bringing in learning from my Psychology degree.
Whilst technically not a post, each day people head over to my “About Me” page – and I’m hardly surprised. Every blog I stumble upon I check out the “About” page, so keep yours up-to-date and interesting!
So I begin 2022 in my thirties, publishing around 10 articles a week at work and feeling excited to keep adding sexy, saucy and scintillating content on my blog.
