Love and Lust in Lockdown: The global yogi.

Lockdown has got many of us feeling hot under the collar and frisky between the sheets.  To find out how lockdown has impacted our love and lusting, I’m getting intimate with interviews.

Anon M, 33 y/o.

What is your relationship status?

Sad and single.

Describe your love-life in one word.

Self-isolated.

Who have you been quarantining with?

387 people (don’t ask – it’s a long story).

Has the lockdown impacted your sex life, if so – how?

Yes, it has turned my analogue sex life 100% digital.  I’ve not even had a sniff of sex for three months and so I’ve even found myself signing up to fan-only pages just to get something a bit more personal than free Pornhub videos.

Have any of your desires/fantasies changed during the lockdown?

Yes, a Fleshlight has never looked so sexy.

Describe your lockdown experience in three words.

Regulated, frustrating and insightful.

What have you missed the most about ‘normal life’?

Spicy chicken wings.

What coping mechanisms have you adopted during the lockdown?

Yoga (although I really hurt myself doing it), reading books that I’ve always wanted to read and connecting with my parents more.

Has the pandemic changed the way you approach love and romantic relationships?

Yep.  Tinder is back on my phone and has quickly found it’s way to the top of the list of things that are really fucking me off right now!

What are your hopes for love after lockdown?

My present hopes for love post-pandemic haven’t improved, but I am in the mood for lust.  So my hope is that all the single ladies decide to celebrate the bars opening again on July 4th and give me an Independence Day to remember.
